Holidays are a time to relax. At Staysure, we're experts in travel insurance – in fact that's all we do. We've been providing travel insurance in the UK since 2004 – that’s over 20 years. We're not just experts in covering holidays, we're specialists in cover for pre-existing medical conditions.
Not many insurers are and their cover might not help you if your pre-existing medical condition means you need to make a claim. In 2025 we launched in Ireland to bring the same specialism to the Irish market. So, if you want to go on holiday, forget your cares and know help is just a call away if you need it, be sure with Staysure.

Our history
Ryan Howsam formed Staysure in 2004, passionate to ensure that over-50s in the UK could access travel insurance that covered their pre-existing medical conditions.
In 2019 Ryan explained his motivation to the press:
“We’re all living longer and travelling more, and it felt like the travel insurance products on offer weren’t tailored to the growing demographic of over-50s with pre-existing medical conditions. Staysure was my first foray into the world of insurance and it’s become something I’m passionate about.”
(Insurance Travel and Health Insurance Journal, February 2019)
As a privately owned company, we make decisions from the needs of our customers, not for shareholders.
Today our headquarters are in Northampton, and we employ over 700 people across Europe as part of the Staysure Group.
