Travel insurance for over 80s

Over 80s travel insurance helps you keep exploring the world with confidence. It includes cover for emergency medical treatment, trip cancellations and baggage – giving you the reassurance you need to travel the way you want. 

This type of cover helps protect you against unexpected costs when you travel. At Staysure, policies are available up to age 85 and can include cover for many pre-existing medical conditions. 

Your policy can cover: 

• medical expenses and emergency repatriation 
• declared pre-existing medical conditions 
• trip cancellation or cutting your trip short 
• travel delays and missed departures 
• lost or stolen baggage, money or passports 

You can choose between two levels of cover, with optional extras available depending on your health needs and travel plans. 

Your medical needs shouldn’t stop you from exploring the world. If you have pre-existing conditions – like asthma, diabetes or high blood pressure – we can normally include them in your travel insurance.  

When you get a quote, you’ll complete a short medical questionnaire so we can tailor your cover.
