Your medical needs shouldn’t stop you from exploring the world. If you have pre-existing conditions – like asthma, diabetes or high blood pressure – we can normally include them in your travel insurance.
When you get a quote, you’ll complete a short medical questionnaire so we can tailor your cover.

Annual multi-trip travel insurance
Travel as often as you like over 12 months, with one policy that covers you every time – including medical emergencies, trip cancellations, baggage and more.
Add extras to suit your travel style
Choose the extras that make your cover work for the way you travel:
- Cruise cover – includes medical care at sea, missed ports, itinerary changes and cabin confinement. Just make sure you add it when you buy.
- Winter sports cover – automatically included with Comprehensive annual policies (up to 2 trips, 21 days combined), or available on single trips if you’re 70 or under.
- Excess waiver – remove the standard policy excess so you won’t need to pay towards approved claims.
- Single item cover – extra reassurance for valuables, with protection increased to €1,000 per item.
- 100-day upgrade – extend your Comprehensive policy’s 50-day trip limit to 100 days for one holiday (available if you’re 70 or under)
When should I buy my travel insurance?
It’s always worth arranging your travel insurance as soon as you book your holiday. That way, you’re protected straight away if something unexpected happens before you travel.
Why buy early?
- Cancellation cover starts the day you take out a policy.
- You’ll be covered if you need to cancel due to illness, an accident or another unforeseen event.
- No need to worry about leaving your insurance to the last minute.

Planning a cruise?
You can add cruise cover up to 18 months in advance. If you choose an annual policy, just check that cruise cover is included.
