Both our single trip and annual policies have an upper age limit of 85. 

With single trip travel insurance policy, all travellers up to 85 can travel up to 104 days. If you’re looking to go away for longer than 3 months, then you could have up to 366 days of cover depending on your age and the destination you’re travelling to. 

With an annual travel insurance policy, all travellers up to 85 can spend up to 183 days in their policy year on holiday. Those aged under 71 can have a single maximum trip duration of 50 days (which can be upgraded to 100 days for an additional premium if agreed). Those who are up to 85 can travel up to 35 days at a time. 

Yes – it’s important to declare all pre-existing medical conditions when taking out your travel insurance. You can do this easily online with our medical screening, or by speaking with our friendly team. 

By declaring your conditions, you’ll be covered if you need treatment abroad and avoid unexpected medical bills. Not disclosing conditions could affect your policy and any claims you make. 

Yes – to be covered for COVID-19 claims, you’ll need to have received all doses of the vaccine offered to you, including boosters. 

If you couldn’t be vaccinated for medical reasons, you’ll still be covered. If you declined the vaccine without a valid exemption, COVID-related claims won’t be included in your cover.
